As an avid dance student from age 6, I soon realised that a professional career as a dancer was more of an idealistic pursuit than a realistic one. This did not prevent me from attending classes and acquiring mountains of knowledge from dance mentors I have aspired to these past 20 years as an instructor. The ongoing quest for excellence by diligent and conscientious students wishing to better themselves as aspiring young artists motivated me to better myself as a mentor. Their participation and accolades at various sports & dance events globally since 2012 have been an education in itself and rewarding on many levels. I credit my mentors and students for the many opportunities we have had to share some of the greatest adventures. Our shared experiences have enabled me to refine a skill set that will benefit future learners. If anything, these past 20 years have proven without a shadow of a doubt that consistent preparation surpasses talent in the real world.
